Needle Insertion

A needle is placed in your arm to access a vein, similar to a blood donation.

Plasma Separation

  • Blood is drawn from your arm.
  • A machine separates the plasma.
  • Red cells & other components are returned to you.

Donation Complete & Recovery

The process takes about 45-90 minutes. Afterward, the needle is removed, a bandage applied, and you'll rest briefly with snacks and fluids.
